Ordered 3 take out entrees on this trip to share between my wife and I. Beef w/ Brocolli, Pepper Steak and Sweet & Sour Chicken were all quite tasty, fresh and well proportioned with egg rolls and white rice. Order was ready on time.

Well I returned and was disappointed again. Egg drop soup was super bland this time and that tasty looking cashew chicken was ruined by frozen mixed vegetables. Who even does that? They made it taste like stew. Yuck! Service was good. (Except for that women who just sat there and stared).

This IS the only place for Asian food if you're in Newport News. The BEST chicken Fried rice ever is here. It's Friday night, takeout for me and my wife. You guessed it, chicken fried rice & beef teriyaki to go. Meanwhile, Mai Tai while I wait. Yep, it's great!
If you want some great Asian food at a reasonable price, this is the spot in Newport News. Port Arthur, located at 11137 Warwick Blvd.
You just gonna go. Casual dress by the way. -

I went here because a friend wanted to try it. At first, it seemed alright, but it all went down hill. When asked what I wanted to drink, like always, I asked if they had root beer. She gives me a blank look, then says, "Dr Pepper," and starts to write it down without giving me the option of choosing something else! I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and it didn't taste too bad, but I woke up int the middle of the night feeling nauseated and sweaty. I don't know if the shrimp were bad or what. Won't be back.

Enjoyed the Peking Duck, sauce was delicious, my Mai Tai was terrible, medicinal in flavor. Will give it another visit just to have the duck
